This website is operated by Alpine Baby Limited (referred to below as “we”, “us” or “our”). The following terms and conditions govern the use of our website and apply to the purchase of our products on this site. By accessing and interacting with this website and using our services, you accept these terms and agree to be bound by them.

 

Privacy Policy

By using our website, you accept and agree to our privacy policy (link to policy).

Your personal information will be used, according to our privacy policy, for the purpose of processing your order and providing you with our products and services.

We operate on a Shopify platform. Shopify therefore collects and securely stores personal information on our behalf (link to policy).

 

Purchasing

We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay.   

An order made via this site is a request to purchase one or more products (“order”). Where we receive a valid order, we will accept this by confirming via email that your selected payment method has been debited and that we are preparing the Order for delivery to the shipping address you have nominated. Where we are unable to fulfil your order, you will be refunded, and we will notify you by email. Individual card issuers control the time frame for refunds and should be contacted for further details.

 

Pricing

All prices are in New Zealand Dollar (NZ$) and include GST (15% sales tax).

Shipping costs (if any) are not included in the sale price and are added at checkout.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to amend any pricing errors displayed due to human error, computer malfunction or other reason. We will notify you of any error in pricing and you may elect not to purchase the goods where the price has been corrected.

 

Discounts

Any discount codes will be applied at checkout and before payment. We will not reimburse you for any failure to use a discount after payment has been processed. Discount codes may only be used on full priced items and may not be used on bundle deals.

 

Returns

We appreciate that sometimes online purchasing can be difficult. We therefore have a return policy for refunds or exchanges, on the following terms.

Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt, in their original packing, in new and unused condition and with their garment tags attached. We may either refund you in full or exchange the item for another of the same value. Where there is a difference in value, we will refund you or ask you to cover the difference. You will be responsible for return shipping costs and in the case of an exchange any new shipping costs.

We retain the right to refuse returns where our requirements have not been met.

In the case of faulty items please contact us at contact@alpinebaby.co.nz. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

 

Cancellations

It is possible to change or cancel your order after submission and before products are shipped. We normally ship within 24 hours so we need to know as soon as possible. Please contact us at contact@alpinebaby.co.nz to discuss this. (Please remove - I think this is too difficult to work with as often the order will go out within hours of being made so 24 hours is actually a very long time to wait before sending the order just in case they cancel.

 

Delivery

Standard shipping within NZ is free. Rural delivery, express and international shipping will however attribute an additional charge. Any shipping fee will be added to the purchase price at checkout.

We endeavour to ship orders as soon as possible, generally within 24 hours of the order. We acknowledge however that technical or other issues may cause a delay in delivery. You should receive your order within a reasonable time frame, we will keep you updated where there are any substantial delays.

We do not guarantee 3rd party delivery times as these are not within the bounds of our control. We therefore will not be held liable for late deliveries, or any loss, damage or cost incurred due to late delivery.

Products will be shipped to the shipping address as provided by you. We will not be liable for any orders that do not arrive due to inaccuracies in the shipping details you provide.

Contracts for the purchase of products, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formulation, will be governed by New Zealand law. Any dispute or claim shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms are reserved. We may amend these Terms at any time without notice to you. Amendments will come into effect from the date they are published on this website. The updated version of these Terms will supersede all prior versions.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless us and our affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party.

In addition to other restrictions as set out elsewhere in these Terms, you are prohibited from using the site or its content:

We may at any point without notice:
