Our Alpine Baby 'Aspiring Winter Sleep Sack' is crafted from luxuriously soft GOTS certified organic cotton, and filled with soft and warm OEKO-TEX certified Halo New Zealand wool. The natural thermal regulation properties of HALO New Zealand wool ensure that despite changes in temperature during the night the Aspiring Sleep Sack is able to adjust the warmth it delivers and keep baby comfortable all night long. The Aspiring Sleep Sack is designed to give little hips plenty of room to move and develop safely while being snug around the torso. The shoulders are designed with no seam to ensure optimum comfort and security similar to swaddling. Convenient snap domes under the arms allow your baby to use their sleeping bag right from 3 months old while plenty of leg room means your toddler will still be super comfortable at 2 years old. Due to the unique properties of wool a TOG rating is not required, however we have included an average TOG rating of 3.0TOG to provide an indication of warmth. We suggest using the Aspiring sleep sack in rooms between 14°C - 22°C. See our dressing guide for more information on safely dressing your baby for sleep.

Halo is made up of Oritian certified New Zealand wool knitted onto a lightweight CiCLO® Polyester mesh which holds the wool strongly in place ensuring a softness, strength and warmth far greater than traditional wool fills. This allows a snuggly but light weight duvet feel that won't clump, tear or lose it's loft like other fills tend to do.

CiCLO® is an OEKOTEX ECO PASSPORT certified safe additive added to non natural materials such as polyester yarn as it is manufactured that causes it to break down more like natural materials such as wool at the end of it's useful lifecycle helping to reduce the amount of microplastics in our environment.

To ensure the safest sleep possible the Aspiring sleeping bag has been designed and independently tested to meet strict international standard BSEN-167812018 - Safety requirements and test methods for children's sleep bags for use in a cot. The Aspiring Sleeping bag also meets ASNZS-12492014 - Children's nightwear and limited daywear having reduced fire hazard.
